Levels Above Ltd embarked on a strategic recruitment initiative to strengthen our workforce, focusing on expanding both our Hire Controllers team and Accounts department. This effort was aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring we could meet the growing demands of our clients with exceptional service and support.
Levels Above started its growth with the onboarding of three staff members to elevate our Hire Desk and meet the ever-growing demand for Access Platforms. We opened our first office in Ossett, Wakefield but would soon need to move the office to accommodate an ever-expanding team to meet the growing demand
As the demands on our operations grew, it became clear that our existing office space could no longer support our expanding Hire Desk and Accounts teams. To ensure we could continue providing exceptional service to our clients, we undertook another office move, securing additional space to better accommodate our busy and ever-growing teams.
As part of our continued growth and commitment to meeting increasing service demands, Steve Bell joined the team as Head of Operations and Transport. His leadership coincided with the delivery of our first 20 machines, marking a pivotal moment in our journey as we transitioned from being an access platform broker to becoming a fully-fledged powered access rental company.
In a major step forward, we took the keys to what would become our Head Office in Wakefield, where we proudly remain to this day. The building underwent a significant transformation, with a hybrid office and warehouse refurbishment tailored to meet the needs of our growing operations. This new space allowed us to move in by September 2022, providing the foundation for our continued growth and ability to serve customers with even greater efficiency.
With more growth comes need for space, our 2nd depot was opened in Warrington allowing Levels Above to more effectively provide service to the UK's North West regions.
To meet growing delivery demands, we’ve added additional delivery vehicles to our fleet, ensuring a prompt response while continuing to enhance the quality of service we provide to our valued customers.
Levels Above's Access Platform equipment fleet has now expanded to over 60 machines
Promoting team members is important to us, with recognition of exceptional performance and management capabilities awarded to Jenny Penn, being made the Hire & Supply Manager
As of 2025, Levels Above has grown to employ a dedicated team of 14 professionals, each contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service. Our fleet has expanded to an impressive 68 machines, strategically located across two depots. This growth reflects our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our clients and solidifying our position as a trusted leader in the powered access industry.
